Workshops for adults, young people and children

Writing about things that have meaning for us can open the heart and bring a feeling of peace. In these gentle workshops we engage in sensitive acknowledgement of what is most significant in our lives. We use a range of beautiful objects from the natural world, vibrant photographs and quality art materials to encourage our imagination and expression. The workshops are suitable for participants of all abilities.  Materials and refreshments are included.

For adults

Our Words, Our Senses, Our Health – Language and Concepts; Using discussion and creativity to describe our thoughts and emotions. Looking at how the language that we use to describe our emotional and mental states can influence the way that we see ourselves and others. Two hours, £9.00 per person.

Seasons; Looking at the events in our lives, and their effects. Two hours, £9.00 per person.

Emotional Resilience; How do we define it and can we develop it?  In this workshop we ask, “What kinds of things can make it difficult to develop emotional resilience?” and, “What would emotional resilience mean to me personally? What would it feel like?”  We do not ignore the very real issues that are likely to reduce our strength, but we use creative activities to help us describe different kinds of resilience and look at ways to grow our emotional stability. This is a three hour workshop which allows for ample discussion. Young people are especially welcome, however, if you are under eighteen you will be asked to bring a trusted adult. £24 per person if you represent an organisation. £16.00 if you attend as an individual.

Creative Life; A workshop that shares therapeutic and creative activities for people living with dementia or other cognitive impairment. Offering new ideas with sensitivity can enable people to enjoy activities that they have never tried, and hidden abilities can often come to light. Two hours, £10.00 per person.

For young people and children

Confidence at Last!
